The history of Turkey is unveiled across 6 nights. Begin in Istanbul, exploring the historic Hippodrome, the stunning Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. Travel to Canakkale, enjoying the scenic landscapes and ferry ride across the Dardanelles. Visit the Gallipoli Peninsula's poignant WWI memorials, and explore the ancient city of Troy. Conclude your journey in Istanbul with a traditional cooking class and a visit to the bustling Grand Bazaar.
Today you will transfer to Bucharest Airport where you'll embark on your included flight to the Turkish Capital, Istanbul. Formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, Istanbul has a troubled history being a bridge between Europe and Asia for centuries.

Take a guided tour of Istanbul visiting many of the city’s most iconic locations. Visit Dolmabahce Palace which served at the administrative building for the Ottoman Empire. Explore the ancient Hippodrome, a former arena that once hosted chariot races for the Constantinople citizens. Adjacent to the Hippodrome is the Sultan Ahmet Mosque. This is most famously known as the 'Blue Mosque' due to the light that shines through over 2500 stained glass windows and reflects onto the dark blue Iznik tiles within.
